The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) is organizing a 5-day Follow-through of CSR/RBC Training of Trainers (ToT) on 13-17 September 2021 at 2:OO PM to 5:00 PM via ZOOM.

The “Responsible Supply Chains in Asia” (RSCA) programme is a three-year programme under the partnership of the European Union (EU), International Labour Organisation (ILO) and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). It aims to contribute to an enhanced respect for human rights, labour, and environmental standards by businesses engaged in supply chains in Asia in line with international instruments on corporate social responsibility (CSR), responsible business conduct (RBC), and business and human rights.

In collaboration with the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), the RSCA programme implements outreach and capacity building activities for enterprises, including the conduct of training of trainers (TOT) on Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for industry associations, chambers of commerce, ECOP chapters, and coconut sector.

The two runs of ToT are conducted to provide companies and their supply chains with knowledge and understanding about CSR/RBC, the international labour standards, cases of non-compliance, and ways on how to improve compliance. More specifically, the modules include the concepts/definitions of RBC/CSR, codes of conduct, certification schemes, social audits, occupational safety and health, child labor, forced labor, harassment, and equal opportunity. The ToTs are carried out by a team of internal experts of ECOP as well as previous ToT participants of the previous phase of the RSCA.

The training sessions are free of charge. For interested participants, feel free to send us an email at [email protected] or register via http://bit.ly/ToTRSCA-Sept.
