The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) has committed that the Confederation will be the first business organization to be “self-regulating” as far as labor inspection of companies is concerned.
ECOP President Donald G. Dee made this disclosure in his welcome remarks during the 36th edition of ECOP’s once every two months Members’ General Meeting (MGM).
He expressed optimism that affected companies and ECOP members “will welcome these validation teams with open arms and allow them to scrutinize the prevailing practices and pertinent employment documents.”
