The training participants are from the different government ministry, trade unions, employer’s organizations and ILO officers of the participating countries.

Currently, ECOP being the recognized “voice of the Philippine employers” on labor and social policy, sits as one of the member of the Decent Work Advisory Committee – Tripartite Working Group (DWAC-TWG) in charge of providing direction and overseeing the implementation of the Decent Work Country Programme 2018-2024, working closely with the International Labor Organization – Manila Country Office.

The said training course is a pilot one since it launched the DW4SD Resource Platform as one of significant tools and lens in examining how national policies, strategies and programmes impact on employment and decent work, relating to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The DW4SD is useful in national SDG planning processes such as National Development Plan, Decent Work Country Programme in designing and conducting structured discussions in employment and decent work both at the formulation, implementation and monitoring stages.

ECOP was represented in the training by Ms. Sheila Marie Ramos.
