The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) leadership has stated that “raising awareness, capacitating employers, and promoting compliance are paramount for the organization.”

“It could be tedious and oftentimes expensive,” ECOP President Donald G. Dee said but he clarified that in the end it will “redound to business sustainability, positive corporate image, increase in productivity, employee retention and commitment to our duty to the country as indispensable drivers of the economy”

Dee gave assurance that “ECOP will never waver in its duty of advocating for the welfare of the business community.”

These pronouncements were made recently during the 36th ECOP Member’s General Meeting (MGM) held at St Luke’s Medical Center Global City, Taguig.
