The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), together with the Federation of Free Workers (FFW) and Danish Trade Union Development Agency (DTDA), will jointly organize a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Webinar Talakayan via Zoom entitled “The World of Work in the New Normal: The Role of Principles-Based, Inclusive and Business Sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility in Transitioning the World of Work During Pandemic” on 29 May 2020, 2:00 pm.

This webinar aims to discuss how to implement policies and ensure a safe workplace during the pandemic through a principles-based, inclusive and business sustainable CSR approach. It aims to help employers and workers jointly and collaboratively draft an enterprise-level policy based on the DTI-DOLE Interim Guidelines.

A resource person from the International Labor Organization (ILO) will discuss how social dialogue can help combat COVID-19 in the workplace and feature successful case studies from other countries where social dialogue was utilized. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will discuss the main points of the DTI-DOLE Interim Guidelines focusing on the duties of employers and workers. Lastly, representatives from Globe Telecom will share their best practices as they foster strong management-union cooperation during the Enhanced Community Quarantine Period.

The webinar will be on a by-invitation basis.  If you are interested to participate, you may get in touch with ECOP CSR Specialist Shiela Marie Ramos at [email protected].
