The Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) seeks for survey respondents to contribute to the development of the SIKAP MSME Recovery Hub.

The ongoing research study will focus on government and private sector efforts in helping MSMEs recover from the impacts of COVID-19. By looking into the application of loans, programs, and other interventions, this aims to help develop better policies and strategies for the future of the business sector.

SIKAP or “Synergizing Recovery Initiatives, Knowledge, and Adaptation Practices for MSMEs” is an online COVID-19 recovery hub that aims to equip micro, small, and medium businesses in the Philippines with the right information and knowledge on how they can adapt and redesign their operations in light of the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. The platform also contains a collection of funding opportunities and projects by different organizations that MSMEs can take advantage of during these trying times.

Th project is a collaboration by the PDRF, the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, and Connecting Business Initiative.

The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) urges its members, particularly those classified micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to participate to the study. The survey is open from 28 October to 6 November 2020.
