The International Labor Organization (ILO) is currently conducting a series of assessments and surveys on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below are the links to the surveys:

  1. Global survey on how COVID-19 affects young people:

Currently being implemented online (24 April – 21 May), this survey targets young people from all regions, countries, and backgrounds; those actively engaged in economic activities across sectors and industries; as well as those that are in school and those not in employment, education and training (NEET). The survey results will be shared widely to help inform ILO constituents and Decent Jobs for Youth partners as youth navigate these unprecedented times with a profound commitment to protect young people, their rights, voices and opportunities for decent work.

  1. Survey on the impact of COVID-19 to migrant workers and their families

The Safe and Fair Programme is conducting a survey on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on migrants, especially women migrant workers. This is being done in all the ASEAN countries where Safe and Fair operates. In the Philippines, the ILO is sending out the survey forms to OFWs abroad as well as the OFWs and their families here in the Philippines (separate survey form for each cluster).

All the personal information will be held strictly confidentially; only aggregate data (at country level and ASEAN regional level) will be shared among Safe and Fair partners.

The intention of the survey is to monitor the situation and collect information while the crisis is occurring. The results will be used for policy and programme development and to address the challenges that OFWs, especially women, are facing amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

You may also forward the forms to other OFWs and families who can answer the survey.
