ECOP – Wadhwani Foundation Entrepreneurship Program Orientation
September 25 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
“Recession is the best time to start a new business.”
COVID – 19 pandemic has hit the global economy that resulted in a recession. Economic downturns can propel entrepreneurship, and this is an excellent opportunity for people to start their business.
But starting a business entails risks. Most start-ups fail when they are not solving a market problem. They build a product that no one wants to buy. They focus on what they want rather than what consumers want.
Another thing is, they do not have any business plan to follow. Start-ups often rely on their gut feelings or copy what their competitors are offering.
Some start-ups fail to market their products properly. In the advent of digital marketing, some start-ups spend a huge amount of money on ads but have a low turnout of sales leads.
With these problems, ECOP, with the technical support of the Wadhwani Foundation, will be conducting a 2-hour entrepreneurship program orientation. This program aims to help participants assess the type of entrepreneur they are and discover problems worth solving that can lead to potential entrepreneurship opportunities.
