Program Overview

The business world moves at a pace that often appears to be faster than light.  At times, it may seem to have little use or need for the written word.  However, almost nothing could be farther from the truth. Even with the multitude of high-tech communication options available to businesses today, the need for effective writing skills refuses to go out of style. If anything, the sophisticated needs of the present fast-paced market climate have only intensified the need to be able to write with clarity and effectiveness for a variety of situations.

Writing and speaking skills are used every day whether on the job or in a social setting.  One’s future success may be determined by the extent these skills are developed. Communication is not “doing what comes naturally” but is a complicated process that requires an understanding and application of communication principles. In the communication process two or more people are always involved.  Those who communicate best are those who understand that communication starts with the other person’s interests, needs, and wants.  Communication and human relations are inseparable.  When one communicates, remember that his or her human relations skillwill show.

 Program Objectives

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  1. Be inspired that writing business letters is easy.
  2. Discuss the formats and ethical rules to observe in writing business letters.
  3. Inculcate business writing content as the key to reviewing grammar and sentence construction.
