Last June 21, 2019, ECOP Zambasulta, under the leadership of Mr. Al Cabading, conducted a half-day membership promotion and recruitment activity at Garden Orchid Hotel, Zamboanga City. Present during the activity were the officers of ECOP Zambasulta; Mr. Salvador Poserio, ECOP North Luzon President; Ms. Alona Obispo, ECOP Quezon President; and Ms. Michelle Lucas, ECOP Rizal President.
The activity comprised of pitches for membership recruitment highlighting the testimonials of current ECOP Zambasulta members and how ECOP has helped them in their concerns regarding labor and social policy issues. Mr. Poserio, Ms. Obispo, and Ms. Lucas were also given an opportunity to speak and share to the participants the initiatives of their respective chapters and how these initiatives help their constituents. Ms. Al Cabading, ECOP Zambasulta President, was the last to speak highlighting the difference of ECOP from chambers and other business membership organizations in the region.
The activity proved to be very successful as six (6) participants right away signed up for membership.
The event was attended by 34 entrepreneurs hailing from Basilan, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Zamboanga City.
