The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) formally ended the Facilitator’s Training under the ECOP-PCCI Soft Skills Development Program through a commencement exercise held on May 31, 2021. A total of 60 training participants from all over the Philippines showed their commitment by completing the 4-half day training sessions. These 60 participants will serve as peer facilitators for when PCCI rolls out the Soft Skills Development Program among their members across the country.

Ms. Clarine Tobias, the President of the Employers Confederation of the Philippines – Bicol Region and Mr. Edwin Glindro, the Assistant Secretary General of the Project and Development for Regional and International Affairs from PCCI gave their congratulatory speeches to the graduates emphasizing the importance of soft skills in the workplace which is essential in the day-to-day activities of companies, most especially during these challenging times.

Through this workshop, the participants were able to learn and contribute to productive and fruitful discussions together with their co-participants. ECOP looks forward to its continued partnership with PCCI in cascading this program as both organizations aim to equip employees and workers with 21st century skills.
