<p><strong>NEW ECOP PRESIDENT  FOR 2010 </strong></p>
<p>The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) announces the composition of its Board of Governors as well as Corporate Officers for year 2010.</p>
<p>Edgardo G. Lacson, president of MIS Maritime Corp., was elected President of ECOP during the Confederation’s annual membership meeting and elections held recently.</p>
<p>The other members of the ECOP Board of Governors are Miguel B. Varela, <em>Chairman of the Board</em>; Sergio Ortiz-Luis, Jr., <em>Honorary Chairman</em>; Ancheta K. Tan, <em>President Emeritus</em>; Rene Y. Soriano, <em>Honorary President</em>; and Donald G. Dee, <em>Chair of the Council of Leaders</em>, along with Rene E. Cristobal, Claus Sudhoff, Mario O. Mamon, Fe T. Palileo, Ranulfo P. Payos, and Feliciano L. Torres as <em>Vice Presidents</em> as well as William Co, Francisco R. Floro, and Jimmy T. Tang as <em>Governors</em>.</p>
<p>On the other hand, the Corporate Officers are William S. Co, <em>Treasurer</em>; Lucila C. Tarriela, <em>Assistant Treasurer</em>; Alberto R. Quimpo, <em>Corporate Secretary</em>; Bienvenido P. Burgos, Jr., <em>Assistant Corporate Secretary</em>; and William D. Dichoso, <em>General Counsel</em>.</p>
