Skills, Job Matching on Air

The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), along with other organizations, has been tapped by RMN DZXL 558 in `Trabaho Abot Kamay Mo,’ a skills and job matching program on air.
`Trabaho Abot Kamay Mo’ lends support to public-private partnership initiatives, this time to lick unemployment by way of “job vacancies directly delivered to the living room of job seekers.”
RMN DZXL 558 cited government figures indicating that unemployment rate in 2010 was pegged at 7.3% and 7.1% as of July this year.
Through `Trabaho Abot Kamay Mo,’ RMN DZXL 558 envisions to, among others, contribute in bringing down unemployment in the country “through fruitful partnerships” as well as for concerned agencies to have a media partner that will serve on air as job center and cater to all jobseekers who do not have internet access.
