The Dutch Employers’ Cooperation Programme (DECP) has created a special DECP-webpage that supports employers’ organizations in tackling the impact of COVID-19. The objective of the website is to provide information, tips, and tricks on the challenges that employers’ organizations face during and after the crisis. DECP updates the website with comprehensive information about four types of action: informing members, providing services, influencing policies, and increasing visibility.

DECP was founded through a public-private partnership established by Dutch employers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2006 with the aim of strengthening the position of business member organizations in developing countries by offering their professional expertise to contributing to the improvement of the business climate.

DECP believes that especially in times of crisis, employers’ organizations should be there for their members and fight for the business continuity. To know more of the refreshed COVID-19 website page of the DECP, updated with information and links to best practices about what other employers’ organizations are doing in this COVID-19 crisis, kindly access this link: https://www.decp.nl/corona-update.

In its website, the DECP has also released a publication entitled “Some Frequently Asked Questions Answered by DECP Experts” where a lot of concerns of employer organizations were answered by four (4) of DECP’s experts. These specialists collected relevant information and compared studies with regards to the effects of the crisis on the private sector and how to overcome them to answer the questions highlighted in the publication.
