IR/HR Certification Course (Batch 2) Module 3: Human Resources Development
August 24, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
One event on August 31, 2018 at 8:00 am
Human resources development deals with identifying root causes of problems in the organization related to manpower as well as the design of appropriate interventions. Training, among the tried and tested interventions, upgrades the skills and corrects unpleasant working habits of employees in order to increase productivity.
Training is a lifetime activity. What one learns today becomes obsolete tomorrow. With the rapidly changing technology, the change in the work assignment, change in the job content, new markets, new products, new processes and a plethora of other changes in the workplace, training is imperative. It is a necessity.
This module of the Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management Certification Course focuses on developing the organization and its employees. It offers to reinvent training to make it more relevant to the changing times and align itself to the strategic intent of the organization. Training is not merely an episodic intervention, but a continual on-the-job enrichment. It must demonstrate its value and positive impact on the bottom-line results of the company.
At the end of the module, participants will be able to ”diagnose the health” of the organization; design OD interventions; design a proper training plan for the employees.
