Finding Capital to Start Your Business: Getting Venture Capital for Your Enterprise
22 May 2020 (Friday) | 2:30pm – 4:30pm

A good business idea is not the only essential element to start a business. One also needs capital to acquire machines/ equipment, hire people, purchase raw materials, etc. to be able to produce products or deliver services. An existing entrepreneur may also require additional capital to expand business but sometimes is faced also with the challenge of sourcing it. There are pros and cons  involved in using one’s own savings, borrowing from another or taking a loan from a financial institution. The presence of a pandemic further complicates the situation for a would-be and existing entrepreneur because the options become narrower. This webinar aims to  enable an aspiring/ existing entrepreneur to:

  • Know the various options of getting initial capital.
  • List the sources of capital
  • Describe the role of venture capital
  • Identify the best way to finance one’s business during the pandemic
