The Employers Confederation of the Philippines Soft Skills Development Program, in cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO) Women in STEM Workforce Readiness and Development Programme, has kicked off the In Business Soft Skills Training for Women Workers at Nestle Philippines.

More than 300 women workers from factories and other worksites in Laguna, Batangas, Bulacan, and Cagayan De Oro will be participating in the online soft skills training.

The In Business Soft Skills training is part of the Diversity and Inclusion initiative of ECOP which will lead the efforts of employers in creating and raising awareness on diversity and inclusion within the business community and empower and advance women in the workplace.

ECOP and the ILO Bureau for Employers Activities (ACTEMP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding early this year for the rollout of the In Business Soft Skills Training to support employer and business member organizations to offer training and assistance to firms.
