CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DEPARTMENT

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and responsibly, while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large. It is going beyond the mere observance of the minimum requirements of laws. It means giving a little more.

CSR is essential to the long-term prosperity of companies as it provides the opportunity to demonstrate the “human face” of business – a vital link to society in general, and, in particular, to the communities in which businesses are located

ECOP is a firm believer of CSR. It shares the view that a conscious attitude towards CSR will strengthen a profitable organization, retain employees, create loyalty among customers, and attract investors worldwide – affirming that CSR makes good business sense.
