ECOP holds  its 40th annual National Conference of Employers (NCE40) at the Marriott Hotel Manila on 28-29 May 2019, with the theme Future-proofing Business and Industry.

Building on the premise that radical changes in the global and political landscapes, as well as the emergence of a new generation of workers, can substantially endanger the sustainability of business, the Conference aims to delve into the emerging trends in both national and international geopolitical and economic scenarios that are expected to significantly affect employers.

NCE40 will also highlight various ways for employers to innovate in the advent of these changes, not only to maximize the opportunities presented by these developments, but also to contribute in national economic growth and the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Leading the roster of experts who will be imparting their knowledge in the conference is Former NEDA Director General Dr. Cielito F. Habito. Also sharing their expertise are Hon. Mark O. The Keynote Address will be delivered by the Vice President of the Republic, Hon. Maria Leonor G. Robredo.

This year’s Conference will also feature the announcement of winners for the 2019 Kapatiran sa Industriya (KAPATID) Awards. Launched in 1995, the KAPATID recognizes companies that exemplify good business practices in the areas of industrial relations, quality and productivity, responsible and ethical business conduct, and job creation and business sustainability.
