Dole Philippines is the Grand Winner of the 2011 Kapatiran sa Industriya (KAPATID) Awards.
The awarding of this year's KAPATID Grand Awards and citations on Industrial Peace and Harmony, Productivity and Quality, Social Accountability, and Strategic Visioning and Partnering for Business and Job Survival as well as special citations to two (2) SMEs were held last May 5, to coincide with the 32nd National Conference of Employers (NCE 32). The two-day NCE 32, on the theme, "Tripartism and Employment: The Only Way," kicked off on May 4 at the Marriot Hotel Manila. President Aquino handed over the awards to the winners.
Dole Philippines, the KAPATID Awards grand winner, was established in 1963. It is one of the largest integrated pineapple plantation, cannery and packaging complexes in the world. Dole Philippines' pineapple operations are located in various areas in the Mindanao region.
